DÉJEUNER AVEC PAPA

Nothing is the way it used to be since Gaspard's parents separated. Every Sunday, the 12-year-old boy meets his dad at a restaurant and spends his time drawing on the placemats to his heart's content. Through the pages of this visual journal, we get to hold Gaspard's hand as his life is turned upside down.

Simon Boulerice is an author, actor and stage director. Breakfast with dad is his sixth book published with Les Éditions de la Bagnole. His previous works include the play Les mains dans la gravelle/Hands in Gravel (2012), the picture book Albert 1er, le roi du rot/Albert the First, King of Burps (2014), the novel Victor (2015)
