She's since been profiled in the New Yorker, interviewed by Marc Maron on his WTF podcast, and covered by New York Times, New York Magazine, Vogue, Elle, Vulture, to name a few. Wong's letters are absurdly funny, often surprisingly moving, even enlightening (and often peppered with her trademark raunchy humor).

Ali Wong is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actress this book is both her persona and her true self in parts. Wong has been a longtime writer for the American television show Fresh Off the Boat, a comedy based on chef Eddie Huang's best-selling memoir of the same name, and she's also a series regular on the sitcom American Housewife. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two daughters.
