COMES THE NIGHT

Hollis Hampton-Jones

A stark, unflinching novel which chronicles a fevered and tormented journey through the frothy, glossy world of fashion and the shadowy recesses of love.
Meade is nineteen and living in Paris with her twin brother, Ben Ho, far from their privileged upbringing in Nashville, Tennessee. Hers is a restless quest of balancing addictions: an unnatural dependence on her brother, an unquenchable craving for pills, and an increasing reliance on purging. But when Ben Ho falls for a girl at art school, Meade's precarious equilibrium is shaken.

When Meade is discovered on the streets of Paris and thrust into the cutthroat world of high fashion modeling, she slowly descends into a vortex of glamour and passion. As her sexual obsession shifts from her brother to a troubled Iranian fashion photographer, Meade finds that she has made a tragic match with someone whose secrets go further, deeper and darker than anything she can fathom.

Hollis-Hampton-Jones studied German and French literature in Berlin, Salzburg, Vienna, and Paris. She is a former model and the author of the novel VICIOUS SPRING. She lives in Nashville, TN with her husband, children, and dogs.
