CHAOS ON CATNET

Steph is starting a new school in Minneapolis under her real name, now that she and her mother are no longer on the run and her abusive father is in jail. On the first day of school Steph connects with Nell, another new girl, who has a complicated new home life after her mother left (or was taken) from their restrictive church. Steph is still connected to CatNet, and the sentient AI who runs the group, CheshireCat. But now there's another AI hunting CheshireCat, and an app that's tracking the girls' every move. Steph and Nell complete quests given to them by the app, in the hopes that it'll lead to the whereabouts of Nell's mother and provide more details on this AI hunting CheshireCat. What follows is a cat-and-mouse game within a techno-thriller
