CALL ME GRIM

Elizabeth Holloway

A paranormal young adult novel that’s three parts Dead like Me and one part Minority Report.
At 3:12 PM, right after her history final, Libbi Piper is scheduled to die. Or was scheduled, rather, until the local Grim Reaper saved her life. But as Libbi soon finds out, Aaron—who really is far too cute to have a job description that includes escorting people to Hell—didn’t save her life for altruistic reasons. He saved her because he needs a replacement. Which means Libbi has two days to choose between the only possible futures left to her: dying like she was supposed to, only a day or two behind schedule... or living a lonely life as Death Incarnate, stuck in her crappy town forever, invisible and inaudible to everyone except the newly-dead. The choice is easy—until Libbi’s best friend Kyle shows up marked: condemned as a future murderer. Aaron tells Libbi she’d have time to figure out who Kyle will kill, and fix his mark, but only if she agrees to replace him as Reaper. Now Libbi has one week, while she trains with Aaron, to stop Kyle from committing murder. Because if she doesn’t, he’s destined for Hell... and as the town’s next Grim Reaper, Libbi will have to take him there. Elizabeth Holloway is a registered nurse in her day job and usually attached to her computer or engrossed in a novel at all other hours. This is her debut novel.
