Twig is a small chipmunk who has always wondered what his last name will be. In the Hill, you are what you make and apprentice animals only earn their full names when they can build something worthy.

But Twig is hapless in all of his classes. His imagination wanders to his favorite books or the delicious may apples growing beyond the scavenge yard...and he gets lost.

Unsure he will ever amount to anything, Twig sets out on a journey to discover himself. Though, instead of finding answers, he stumbles upon a strangely-colored globe that contains a curious secret.

Protecting it might win Twig a name. But when Twig learns his secret might hurt others, he is forced to make a choice between his place in the world and the feelings in his heart. A choice that if he could be called anything, it should be friend.
