It all started with a TedTalk. Actor, filmmaker, and entrepreneur Justin Baldoni dared to be vulnerable and share his truth (with over 7 million viewers!) about what it's like to be a deeply-feeling man in a world that tells men that showing - or even acknowledging - their emotions makes them weak and unmasculine. Through his debut book Man Enough and his national podcast, Justin is building a dialogue with men about masculinity and how to undefine it so that they can embrace their full humanity and find the peace, joy, and happiness that comes from rewriting what "being manly" means.
In Boys Will Be Human: A Get-Real Gut-Check Guide to Becoming the Strongest, Kindest, Bravest Person You Can Be, Justin brings his inspiring and thought-provoking honesty to boys ages 10 and up. His big brother energy really comes through in the stories of his youth, and the advice he gives boys facing the most confusing and impressionable years of their lives is all connected to his uplifting message of "enough-ness." Boys Will Be Human will also include 2-color illustrations and interactive material, like thought exercises, as well as sidebars containing quotes from notable men and relevant scientific research.
Justin Baldoni is an actor, director, producer, entrepreneur, and changemaker. He is the cofounder of Wayfarer Studios, an independent studio pioneering multi- platform film and television productions that speak to the human spirit. Baldoni directed and produced Wayfarer Studios' first feature film, Clouds, which premiered on Disney+ in October 2020. Other directorial projects include CBS Film's Five Feet Apart and CW's My Last Days.
