Incarcerated on a prison moon run by the draconian Fed and populated by a mélange of alien species, Tig—the only human to ever make it through intake—manages to survive by working for Granny, the mobster who rules the lawless cons. Life isn't awesome, but it's tolerable.

And then, Granny sends Tig on a mission that will turn his world upside down. Charged with intercepting a package—a beautiful, tantalizing Seraph—and delivering her to her doom, Tig is torn. To make matters worse, Mia, a Fed Agent who has betrayed Tig more than once, demands that he use the angel to Mia's evil ends. Both options are intolerable. He is determined to protect this waif and deliver her to safety, no matter the consequences. Pity the waif does not want to be protected.

What follows is a wild romp—an adventure, a mystery and an awkward romance between Human and Seraph. It is the journey that could free them from the domination of the Fed and change the fabric of the universe forever. If they survive.
