AUDITION
What would you give up for your dream?
When high school junior Sara wins a coveted scholarship to study ballet with the Jersey Ballet, she's thrilled and petrified. It means leaving the only home she's ever known, in rural Vermont, and boarding with a family in a strange city. Sara's rigorous new schedule of dance classes, rehearsals, and studying at an elite prep school leaves her little time for a social life and few peers she can relate to. So when Remington, a handsome 22-year-old dancer and choreographer with the company, seduces Sara, she willingly slips into the role of Rem's muse and dirty secret. But a newfound interest in writing makes her question whether anyone especially Rem sees beyond her body to the mind and soul within. Sara must decide if dance is enough for her after all; if Rem is using her or visa versa; and if becoming a professional ballerina is still her dream.
