ASAP SCIENCE
Mitch Moffit and Greg Brown are the creators of AsapSCIENCE. Each week Mitch and Greg upload a 2-3 minute video about a scientific topic. The videos are conceptually basic but flawlessly executed. And unlike most of the scientific fare that is out there, the videos are colorful, engaging, and perhaps most importantly—they answer questions people actually want to learn about, in ways that are absolutely relatable and utterly addictive.
With a number of sponsorships, merchandising and partnerships opportunities coming their way, Mitch and Greg are turning their attention to the most obvious and natural expansion of Asap yet—AsapSCIENCE, the book. In it, the guys will answer the same kinds of burning questions that are featured on their channel (How does Plan B work? What exactly causes hangovers? Can money buy happiness?) with the same aesthetic and appeal of the videos, along with new content and supplemental material. AsapSCIENCE is digestible, fun, and slightly taboo science told in the most entertaining of ways.
Mitchell Mofit has worked everywhere from science labs, to youth travel, to online production. He works fulltime to produce AsapSCIENCE. Gregory Brown majored in Biological Science and minored in Visual Art at the University of Guelph. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto. He teaches at the elementary and high school level, and prides himself on keeping his classrooms both relevant and interesting. He hopes to use Asap as a way to influence people - young, old and all around the world, to find passion for science.
