In the follow up picture book to Coll Muir's Can Cat and Bird Be Friends?, a determined pup and charming feline are on the chase to answer a simple question.

When Dog meets Cat, he wants to chase Cat because.that is what dogs do. For good measure, Dog politely asks, "Are you a cat?"
Cat stops Dog and cleverly says, "I am not a cat."
To prove it, Cat unsuccessfully tries to be a butterfly, bunny, and bird...until he spots a mouse. This irresistible opportunity to chase a mouse forces Cat to accept who he really is deep down inside. In his simple but brilliant art style, Coll Muir playfully transforms a dog and cat --(and mou se) chase into a hilarious story about identity and being yourself.

Graham Howie writing as Coll Muir is a London based illustrator and writer of children's books. After graduating from Edinburgh College of Art, he worked in the film and television industry. In search of a simpler life and still wanting to tell stories, Coll created his first book Can Cat and Bird Be Friends?.
