An impossible friendship

Michael Borchard

David Ben Gurion and Konrad Adenauer are political bedrocks of 20th century society, whose lives have been intertwined in German and Israeli history. Certain parallels can be drawn. Both achieved political prominence later in life, both are founders of a new statehood, both performed pioneer work - and they became friends. This book provides the historical background to this almost impossible friendship which continues to this day.
