In which the macabre, vintage-obsessed daughter of funeral directors, who may be losing her best friend to a boyfriend who's no good for her, is falling in love for the first time with a retro-cool guy who just moved to their high school, and is rethinking her philosophy that nothing lasts and learning that maybe some things are worth fighting for.
