"As the AWA Community has grown and evolved, we've been lucky to have the opportunity to travel to some incredible places across the globe to experience and document spectacular locations firsthand. On these Adventures, we've discovered rich and fascinating stories about the most interesting, idiosyncratic places on Earth. Knowing that we wanted this new book to offer an even more engaging reading experience, we realized that these Adventures - the ones we've been on and the ones we plan to go on - ere the perfect opportunity to offer readers a deeper look at some of the most enchanting locations we and the Community have explored.
In the book, each universe will contain one "AWA Adventure" that will take the form of a feature story about a single location. Accompanied with multiple photographs that capture the beauty and spirit of some of the world's most unexpected and delightful corners, these "AWA Adventures" will invite the reader to come along for the ride as we explore, laugh, and learn. If there are eleven "AWA Adventures" in total, we imagine that at least four will be entirely original, in that they won't feature photos or stories that have appeared previously on Instagram."
Wally Koval founded the @AccidentallyWesAnderson community on Instagram in 2017, and it has since grown to more than one million Adventurers. Wally curates and publishes daily content with the help of his wife, Amanda, and their dog, Dexter, in Brooklyn, New York. Accidentally Wes Anderson was a New York Times and international bestseller, with rights sold in 8 countries.
