ABOVE SUSPICION: Drink and drugs can be a lethal combination, as DJ Smith soon finds out when a master criminal's profits are threatened by her undercover role as butler to Sir Thomas Cameron-Blaik, the wealthy and respected owner of Sron Dubh distillery on the island of Islay. All DJ has to do is report to HMRC when Moran, a ruthless international drug baron arrives - but things don't go exactly to plan, for Gorgonzola's sensitive nose soon detects something much more sinister than drugs. Others who threaten Moran's multi-million pound master plan are eliminated, and one more will make no difference. Can DJ remain undetected long enough to identify Moran and make her escape?

Helen and Morna Mulgray are identical twins who have pursued an identical career path. Now retired from their teaching profession, they are plotting and writing D.J. Smith mysteries at home in Edinburgh. They won the Edinburgh Writers' Club novel competition in 2002, which led to the publication of their debut novel, No Suspicious Circumstances in 2007.
