In "Death is a Day Worth Living" Dr. Ana Claudia has the courage to deal with a subject that continues to be taboo. Ana Claudia Quintana Arantes is a doctor who graduated from the USP, with geriatrics and gerontology residencies at the Hospital das Clínicas FMUSP. She has a position-Degree in Psychology-Grief Intervention at 4 Estações Institute of Psychology, with a specialty in Palliative Care from the Instituto Pallium and from Oxford University. She is the founder of the Associação Casa do Cuidar, where she coordinates the advanced multi-professional program in practices and teaching of palliative care. In 2012 she published her first book of poetry, Even Lines, used as a basis for research on poetry's impact on hope in people who are gravely ill. Her second book, Death is a Day Worth Living, continues to be among the highest sellers and most recommended books since its first edition in 2019.
