One of America’s premier political analysts, his writing has appeared in every leading newspaper in the country and its top magazines and he has been a guest commentator on all the major television networks. His previous book, Necessary Secrets: National Security, the Media, and the Rule of Law, was published to critical acclaim in 2010. Schoenfeld holds a Ph.D. in government from Harvard University and lives in New York City.
