31 FEVRIER
A comedy with a fresh and joyous take on integration, the coexistence of communities, and a return to the old country through the adventures of these modern Three Stooges.
In a city in northern France, three thirty-somethings dream of a new chance in life. Sami, the most energetic of the three, son of Moroccan parents, has gotten hold of the client file of the real estate agency that has just sacked him. Determined to resell villas in Morocco, he cajoles his two friendsSouleyman, a young man of Senegalese descent who is searching for the great love, and the unpredictable and prone-to-depression Fabriceto join him in the scheme. In Agadir, Sami and his buddies think they've hit upon a profitable deal by acting as intermediaries between Omar, a local businessman, and Blanche, the envoy of a French agency. It's a scam. Blanche, ruined, is furious with the trio and threatens to take action. Sami, who has succumbed to her charms, promises he will recuperate her deposit. When he manages to turn the tables and swindle Omar, Sami finds himself involved in a dangerous situation. With his accomplice, Omar is intent on vengeance. On a wild chase throughout Morocco, Sami, Blanche, and their friends must go into hiding for a while to save their skins. But the taste for more or less shady affairs will soon tempt them again. Born in 1978 of Moroccan parents, Hafid Aboulahyane, an actor in theatre, cinema, and television, also writes scenarios and direct. In 2005, he established his own production company, producing the short features and documentaries of talented young people from the suburbs as La Chemise bleue (2007), Le Forum (2007) and La Marche des crabes (2009).
