18 TO LIFE

Meredith Masony

Inappropriate Thoughts on Motherhood

A hilarious, tell-it-like-it-is essay collection on motherhood from the founder of That's Inappropriate, one of the most popular parenting blogs on the web.
Meredith Masony founded That's Inappropriate in 2014 as an innocent and humorous way to chronicle her chaotic days as a working mom, child wrangler, and busy wife. Now, it is a massive, dynamic community of parents brought together by their shared belief that parenting, marriage, and life in general don't have to be perfect.

18 TO LIFE is a collection of short, easily digestible essays on the universal frustrations of motherhood. Sharing her laugh-out-loud perspective and stories on parenting, marriage, sex, aging, anxiety, and friendship, 18 TO LIFE will provide laughter, relief, and validation to any mom who feels lost or alone. For fans of Bunmi Laditan, Karen Alpert, and Jenny Lawson, the book will be, as Meredith puts it, "a metaphorical hug for all of those moments you spend crying on your bathroom floor, thinking that you are failing at the hardest job on the planet."

Meredith Masony is a Florida-based mom of three and former teacher. At the tender age of 23, she married her high school sweetheart Dave, who is now her business partner in crime. Meredith has spoken at women's and social media conferences including Dad 2.0, Mom 2.0, and Start Loving You. Her corporate partnerships include JCPenney, the Calm meditation app, fabfitfun, Bulletproof, Blue Apron, and Vicks. She is the author of the self-published book Scoop the Poop.
