New York Times bestselling author Kelly DiPucchio and celebrated illustrator Claire Keane have created an irresistible new monster!

Monsters are loud. And rude. They like to smash things and they always need to be right. But not Yeti. Yeti bakes banana bread and sings to whales and always has a nice word to say. But sometimes you find yourself alone when you're different. And Yeti doesn't know there's a special surprise in store for him.

This story makes "Virtue is its own reward" seem original and kind of a blast.

Review: Kirkus

The premise offers a lot of giggly fun.Whether viewers take away the notion that kindness is always worth it or that even when it feels like you're alone, someone's out there watching your back, this will lead them through the laughter to a final "awww."

Review: BCCB

Narration and dialogue balloons by DiPucchio (Oona) are models of heartfelt comedy with a light touch, and Keane's (Paolo, Emperor of Rome) softly jewel-toned, monstrously expressive digital drawings have the fluidity and immediacy of ink and watercolor sketches. The book's lesson - framed as an alternative party that Yeti throws during the raucous Monster Bash - is a familiar one, but readers should find it reassuring nonetheless: be yourself, and the rest will follow.

Review: Publishers Weekly

a strong reinforcement for holding on to the value of kindness, even among monsters.
